美国标准要求将锁装在试验机的试验门上，试验门门高762mm～914mm，使试验门有足够空间装下受试样品。试验装置能够提供以下试验步骤：

a)转动执手缩回锁舌；

b)开启试验门；

c)松开执手；

d)关闭试验门使锁完全锁闭。

试验频率不大于30次/min。

 

美国标准寿命试验测试方法，模拟实际使用环境下对锁操作的全过程，当门关闭时，存在锁舌冲击锁扣板的过程。因此，美国标准寿命试验测试方法更能够体现出门锁在实际使用中的性能。

根据ANSI/BHMA A 156.2的要求，试验机结构设计满足如下要求：

1钢质试验门框架；

2门锁通过胶合板固定在试验门框架上；

3试验门门宽762mm～914mm，门厚45mm；

4门边和所扣板间隙能够调整至3mm；

5合页规格115mm

6试验频率通过调节气缸能够实现在30次/min内可调。
