ASME是American Society of Mechanical Engineers（美国机械工程师协会）的英文缩写。ASME成立于1880年，是一个非营利性专业机构，旨在促进机械工程、多学科工程及相关科学的学术交流，科学技术和实际应用。ASME主要从事发展机械工程及其有关领域的科学技术，鼓励基础研究，促进学术交流，发展与其他工程学、协会的合作，开展标准化活动，制定机械规范和标准。 它拥有125000个成员，管理着全世界最大的技术出版署，主持每年30个技术会议，200个专业发展课程，并制订了许多工业和制造标准。 自成立以来，ASME领导了机械标准的发展，从最初的螺纹标准开始到现在已发展了超过600多个标准。ASME 已成为主要在技术、教育及调查领域内世界性的工程学机构。
ASME is short for American Society of Mechanical Engineers. ASME, founded in 1880, is a non-profit professional organization. ASME aims to promote the mechanical engineering multidisciplinary engineering and related scientific academic exchange, practical application of science and technology. ASME mainly engaged in the development of mechanical engineering and related fields of science and technology, encourage basic research, promote academic exchanges, development and other engineering associations cooperation, carry out standardization activities, develop mechanical specifications and standards. It has 125,000 members, managing the world"s largest technical publishing department, hosts the annual 30 technical sessions, 200 professional development courses, and formulated many industrial and manufacturing standards. Since the establishment, ASME standards led the mechanical development, from the initial thread standard beginning to the present has been developed over more than 600 standards. ASME has become a major in technology, education and research within the field of engineering organizations worldwide.
ASME certification program includes the following four categories:
1. 锅炉及压力容器（BPV）
Boiler and Pressure Vessel
2. 核动力装置（N-Type）
Nuclear power unit
3. 核原料（QSC）
Nuclear material
4. 树脂及塑料容器（RTP）
Resins and plastic containers
ASME向世界范围内的生产企业授予25种钢印及相应的认证证书。 其中字母U开头的属压力容器范畴，字母H开头的属锅炉类产品范畴，字母N开头的属于核动力装置范畴。阿斯米认证是目前国际上最具权威性、受到普遍认可的压力容器产品认证。
ASME awarded 2 kinds of seal and the appropriate certification for the manufactures in worldwide. Beginning with the letter U which is a pressure vessel category, beginning with the letter H is a boiler products category, beginning with the letter N belongs to nuclear power unit category. ASME certification is currently the most authoritative, have been widely recognized pressure vessel certification.
ASME认证的流程和我们的服务内容如下：ASME Certification process and scope of service of Headway:
1) 根据ASME要求制造商与Headway签订授权检验服务合同/The manufacturer will sign the authorized inspection service agreement between Headway per ASME requirements.
2) 填写ASME 认证申请表(2页)，并将证书及钢印的预付款连同申请表寄到ASME 认证部，同时根据所取证书的要求填写订单订购ASME法规，并将订单送达ASME 法规销售部,相关费用大致如下：/Fill ASME Certification application sheet, send the certificates and stamp fees together with application sheet to ASME Certification department, at the same time, need to buy ASME Standards per certificates’ application requirements, send the order to ASME Regulation sales department, the related fees will be in the following:
证书费：3000 美元/每张/ certificates’ fees :USD 3000/per certificate
钢印费：300美元/每枚/ Stamp fees: USD 300/ per stamp
ASME 法规：基于客户的要求（对于U, S钢印的厂家需持有法规包括6卷：I,II,A,B.C&D,V,VIII-part 1,IX和B 31.1卷。/ ASME Standards: per the clients’ requirements( for U, S, Stamp factory will at least hold the following 6 sets: I,II, A,B,C&D,V,VIII-Part 1, IX and B 31.1)
所需购买标准费用：约4695美元。/Standard fees: about USD 4695
ASME联检前需预付10000美元。/ Pay USD 10000 to ASME before ASME Audit.
3) ASME 认证部收到申请及汇款后，ASME将于授权检验机构核实工厂是否与授权检验机构签订了检验服务合同，授权检验机构将通过信函向ASME回复确认。/After ASME Certification department receives the application and payment, ASME will check with the authorized inspection institute whether the factory has signed the inspection service contract with the authorized inspection institute, the authorized will issue one letter to ASME to confirm.
4) 工厂外聘无损探伤3级人员，焊工培训，工艺评定准备及准备示范产品，所有记录严格按照手册执行/ The factory will need to have sub NDT Level III person, welder qualification, PQR Preparation and model products, all the list will be strictly follow the ASME Manual.
5) 以上四个步骤完成后，ASME 将通过信函通知授权机构和工厂申请已经被接受，工厂准备接受是否被授予ASME证书联检。/ All the above four steps are finished, ASME will issue one letter to inform the authorized inspection institute and factory that the factory application has been accepted, the factory will prepare for the ASME Union audit.
6) 联检时间将由ASME 来确定。/ ASME Audit time will be decided by ASME.
联检组由ASME联检组长，授权检验机构的授权检验监督师（AIS）和授权检验师(AI)组成。如果联检做出向ASME推荐发证的结论，如同意发证，通常申请者将在2个月内拿到证书及钢印。/ ASME Audit Group will include ASME Lead auditor, the authorized inspection institute AIS and AI .If Union audit gives the certificates’ result, agree to issue ASME Certificates, normally the application factory will receive the ASME Certificates and stamp in two months.
证书需要每三年更新并进行换证或者重新授权的联检，取证和换证程序一样. / The certificates will be valid for three years and renew after three years for union audit again, the certification first time application and renew process will be the same.
b) Headway 在ASME 认证中的主要服务范围：/ Headway will provide the following scope of service during ASME Certification:
1）培训/ Training
2）指导编手册和配合制造商准备示范产品图纸/ Conduct to make manual and help manufacturer to prepare the model product drawings
3）在整个认证过程中的指导和协助完成示范产品/Help to conduct to finish sample products
3）做预联检/ do pre audit
4）配合ASME联检组做正式联检/ Cooperate with ASME Union audit Group to do final audit
