Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment

Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment, systems able to collect and analyse trace levels of particles or vapour from contaminated surfaces, or the contents of baggage or consignments, and indicate, by means of an alarm, the presence of explosives. At this stage CEP testing is only geared towards ETD equipment that uses a manual sampling device (the swab3) supplied with the ETD system to collect particles from surfaces.

否

能否将一件设备归入不同类别的安保设备？
是的，一件设备可以被视为不同类别的安全设备（如EDS和LED），但需要对每一类别分别进行测试
安保设备使用的物品和消耗品是否也经过测试？
是的，但是辅助物品和消耗品是与一个特定配置的设备一起测试的，而不是单独测试的。结果将作为一个整体提供给指定的配置。
在测试之前，应该确定定义配置的所有元素。这通常包括安全设备使用的可能影响其检测性能的物品和消耗品（例如托盘、拭子）。
为了更好地定义测试中的配置，必须提供所使用的此类物品和耗材的参考号。

ECAC/EU绩效标准是否等同于TSA绩效标准?
不，ECAC/EU安全设备性能标准是由所有ECAC成员国根据欧洲常见威胁清单制定的，但这些威胁可能与美国面临的具体威胁不同。根据自身风险评估采用TSA绩效标准。然而，多年来，欧洲和美国运输安全管理局（TSA）的绩效标准在尽可能大的程度上保持一致。
一个完整的测试主要分哪些阶段？
一般而言，完整测试包括以下三个不同阶段：
§范围界定测试，这是任何完整测试的初始部分。测试中心进行范围界定测试，以评估系统的性能是否证明完成整个测试过程所需的资源和费用是合理的。范围界定测试采用“详细统计测试”阶段的缩尺版本，并将给出系统是否可能符合标准的早期指示
§详细统计测试，主要测试阶段，测试中心在此阶段评估配置是否能够在不同测试中达到ECAC/EU性能标准，如CTM中所述
§探索性测试，这是一个附加的性能测试阶段，不按照ECAC/EU要求进行测试，而是处理其他有用的参数，这些参数将指示配置在操作环境中的性能
在探索性测试期间，除了与性能标准直接相关的参数外，还有哪些其他参数需要测量并包含在CEP报告中？
对于每种类型的安全设备，测量以下附加参数，包括在CEP报告中，并在与制造商的汇报会议中提及：
爆炸物探测系统（EDS）：
皮带速度（如果制造商在CONOPS中说明，则包括在内，但不测量）
