根据欧盟委员会的的决定，将修订协调标准清单并于2013年9月30日结束推定符合旧标准EN471:2003+ A1。
自2013年10月1日起，不管任何其他提到的有效期，所有根据EN471测试的安全反光服的EEC类检验证书将视为无效。2013年10月1日起，所有的安全反光服在投放市场前应符合统一的EN ISO20471:2013标准。
重大变更如下所列：

耐汗渍色牢度沾色的染色要求将从三级改为最低四级
-
编织材料的拉伸强度的要求更改为最低100牛
-
针织材料的破裂强度要求改为至少100千帕（50平方厘米的测试面积）和最低200千帕（7.3平方厘米的测试面积）

单层或多层服装的物理性能测试，Ret不能大于5平方米帕/瓦特。如果Ret超过5平方米帕/ 瓦特，Rct（符合ISO11092）必须测量并应确定imt ≥0.15
-
反光材料的各项性能级别没有区分 - 要求与EN471的2级一样
新的标志更改如上图。（X=所确定的性能等级的服装，而导致的反光材料的最小面积）
